Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its American subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA, has signed a new seven-year, Traffic-as-a-Service (TRaaS) contract extension with the City of Pawtucket, Rhode Island valued at approximately 12 million USD over the contract period, corresponding to SEK 120 million.
This extension demonstrates the valuable managed service partnership between Sensys Gatso and this vibrant New England city of 75,000 residents, that started in 2019. With the new contract, the initial term has been amended to 7 years as of 2023, totalling 11 years excluding the optional 5 year contract extension. During the new contract period, Sensys Gatso and the City will expand the number of enforcement systems to further improve road safety.
The Sensys Gatso PULS and Xilium software platforms drive the industry leading T-Series red light and speed enforcement camera systems. All elements of the automatic traffic enforcement solution, from image capture to customer services, adjudication services and payment collection, is delivered to the City of Pawtucket by Sensys Gatso
