Area Manager of Region II in  Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Tahani Saleh Al-Khamis had said in a statement, "The inauguration of a trading hall especially dedicated for women represents a shift of advanced banking and investment services provided by KFH to its female clients, for which it takes the lead locally and regionally." She further highlighted that, "This development is consistent with the increasing number of Kuwaiti women who wish to deal in the stock market, and at the same time, coinciding with the evolution of the role of the Kuwaiti women in the process of development and investment in general".

The E-trading hall to be attached to KFH Branch in Bayan Area will be equipped with the latest state of the art technology including high tech computing and communication services and will provide an environment that gives women the privacy they need it to comfortably carry out E-trading. Many women have expressed the desire to want to trade outside of the official stock market building and this facility will enable them to do so effectively and cater for their needs.

Al Khamis said in a statement that, "KFH, as part of its marketing strategy related to banking services for women, is keen on constant and continuing communication with its female clients through various channels, among which the most important is to invite them to attend a series of direct meetings, where we welcome inquiries and suggestions to be taken into account when designing and launching new services and products to fit those needs. This is in addition to participating with the ladies in their own activities and moving to locations where they are actively engaged. We often receive invitations from different entities especially schools to provide comprehensive explanation about the nature of our banking services while at the same time our trained work groups propose to offer a full range briefing about our services and products."

Al Khamis further added that, "We, in KFH, do not limit ourselves to being the pioneers in providing special banking services for women, as far as we are keen on a permanent basis to produce a modern concept of banking services for women coping with the growing role of this segment within the local as well as regional financial business community and through the provision of a range of banking and financial services and solutions."

Al Khamis went on to say that, "Women's banking is no longer limited to deposit and withdrawal, but has expanded over and beyond to include the demand for diversified products such as participation in investment funds and portfolios, particularly new and existing. We, in turn, offer them a complete package of data about the new and existing funds and portfolio in addition to the advice and consultation. The Kuwaiti woman is now more Interested to enter into investment sectors which were limited to men only in the past."

The new E-trading facility further helps to promote growth and understanding of the industry and help to positively reflect the innovative products that Islamic bank's such as Kuwait Finance House are taking to cater for the needs of their customers.
